…proving once again that in the world of cultural diplomacy, you can’t go wrong by sharing the gift of dance.
Americans for the Arts issues statement on election results
Glad that they did this so that we can rest easy knowing some of the new “red” senators, eg. Mark Kirk (R-IL) and Jerry Moran (R-KS) have been historically pro-arts. Of course, we do wonder why this wonderfully written statement isn’t front and center on both the main Americans for the Arts website as well as on the Arts Action Fund site.
Arts Council overhauls funding program
A quick summary: do more with less, provide better support to fewer projects, eliminate waste.
