Before I begin: If you haven’t seen the remounting of Garden of Earthly Delights at the Minetta Lane Theater, do so. How often do you hear of 12-week runs for modern dance productions, that then get extended?
Back to topic: While speaking on a panel at this year’s Dance on Camera Festival (more on that later), I revealed that we had just signed an agreement to bring the award-winning documentary Martha Clarke: Light & Dark to TenduTV. The program, originally aired on PBS, follows Clarke for a year throughout the entire creative cycle of a new work, from conception to creation and production.
We’re extremely excited to have this work on the channel, as it is a fascinating look into process for dance creators, performers, and audience members alike.
